Villa Soledad This opulent and luxurious villa is well hidden within a lush Mediterranean garden with great sea views whilst located only a few minutes’ drive from the magical village of Naoussa and some of the most beautiful beaches of the island of Paros. Designed by a renowned architect, the villa is an expression of love for the Cycladic identity, defined by whitewashed walls, pale green shutters and the use of traditional materials such as stone, marble and wood. The thick stone walls keep the house cool and pleasant to live in, even in the hottest days of the summer. The spacious interiors with its traditional decoration, its comfortable, large bedrooms and its modern amenities, promise a pleasant and comfortable stay. An infinity pool spreads along the length of the house, inviting guests to enjoy dipping in and out of the water and relax on the loungers, while the large patio overlooking the pool, provides a unique outdoor sitting space where guests can enjoy meals or an evening drink with friends. The villa is surrounded by a huge variety of plants and trees such as roses, geraniums, lavender, oregano, laurel, fig trees, olive trees, pine trees, to name only a few, which not only provide shade but also indulge the senses with exquisite smells and colours. At the back end of the main garden guests can also find a vegetable and herb section with homegrown tomatoes, aubergines, courgettes, basil etc. Within the garden there are many secluded sitting areas for those who need some tranquility to read a book or just enjoy the surroundings. The villa, consisting of the main house and the guest house, can accommodate up to 8 guests and 2 infants. LAYOUT Main house The front 40m2 veranda, is the hub of the house, with easy access to the kitchen, views to the pool, garden and sea. This area is protected from the sun by a traditional canopy covered by a beautiful white and pink bougainvillea which provides natural shade and makes it an ideal space to enjoy lunch outdoors. The back verandas run along the length of the house, with lemon trees, bougainvillea, and jasmine and offer alternative sitting areas on windy days. There is plenty of sitting areas in all the verandas to enjoy meals or to just relax with family and friends. Ground Level: Entrance hall, living room with fire place (TV, LCD, DVD, sound system), dining area, study and bathroom(bathtub). Fully equipped kitchen (A/C) with direct access to both front and back verandas, making catering for meals very pleasant. Master bedroom 33m2 with an en-suit dressing area and bathroom (bathtub). It has its own private veranda with view to the pool, garden and sea. It also has direct access to the back veranda. King-size bed, convertible to twin beds on request, A/C, fan. Can be connected directly with one of the Guest House bedrooms. Guest House ground level: Entrance hall and two bedrooms, 20m2 each, with a common bathroom(shower), front windows with view to the garden and sea; access to the back veranda, garden, front garden sitting area and pool. Bedroom One: Queen size bed, A/C, fan Bedroom Two: King size bed, convertible to twin beds, A/C, fan Guest House lower level: On the lower level guests can find another large (30m2) living/dining room ( TV, DVD and sound system) with a fully equipped kitchen, a large 18m2 bedroom with king-size bed(A/C, fan) and bathroom (shower). During the low season, the guest house could be rented separately with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms with special rates. Outdoors: Infinity pool, seating area with lounges and umbrellas, shower and pool WC; shaded dining area with pergola. Mediterranean garden, herb and vegetable garden.
