COVID-19 Response

Our guests' safety and well-being are our top priority.

The global COVID-19 pandemic has forced many guests to postpone or alter their travel 2020 plans. We are proud to say that we have been able to help 100% of our affected guests re-book, postpone or get refunds. Now, in anticipation of travel restrictions being lifted domestically and in their favorite destinations, many travelers have already begun booking trips for the second half of 2020 and beyond.

Rmoceanfront Rentals team is doing everything possible to support you and your future travel plans during this difficult period. Here are the steps we have taken to provide some peace of mind as you plan your next private villa vacation:

Relaxed Payment Terms

We have reduced the minimum deposit amount required to reserve a home to as little as 30% for some homes. The amount required at the time of booking may vary depending on your travel dates and the home you choose, but your Reservations Manager will work closely with you to find an option that suits your needs.

Flexible Cancellation Policies

We understand that with increased uncertainty, there is a need for increased flexibility. That’s why we are offering more flexible cancellation policies with less strict refund terms and options to reschedule if your trip is impacted by COVID-19. Health & Safety

In addition to ensuring the standard thorough cleaning and preparation of the home prior to your arrival, we are working closely with our partners on the ground to confirm any additional sanitary measures put in place to ensure you have a carefree stay. As always, the health and safety of guests and staff is a top priority.

PAYMENTS

Reservation: Fifty (50%) percent of the total payment inclusive of rental, taxes and any applicable fees is payable at the time a reservation is made. The entire balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. If payment is not received by due date, then the reservation is subject to immediate cancellation. We accept all major credit cards and personal checks.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Payments received for reservation are non-refundable. If an emergency occurs and you must cancel, please call 52 1 987 113 05 46 in Riviera Maya, and every effort will be made to discuss the cancellation.

RENTAL RESTRICTIONS

Guests 18 years or under must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. In the event if this policy is violated we reserve the right to cancel the rental, with no refunds.

LOSSES AND DAMAGES

Guests are required to keep the property secure and locked at all times and will be held responsible for all damage and loss to the property during their stay. Guests are required to keep the property clean and not cause any damage and return the property in the condition it was at the start of the rental. Guests will be responsible for any damage, repairs and additional cleaning they cause during their stay. The Manager will conduct an inspection at check in and checkout. Guest agrees and consents to their credit card on file be charged for all repairs, cleaning, missing items and damages in excess of $15.00. Guests agree that the Manager, Agent, and the property Owner will not be responsible for missing or stolen property of any Guest further it is recommended that Guests use the property safe for all valuables.

DAMAGE WAIVER FEE

The damage waiver fee is an insurance fee to cover all accidental damages or loss up to $500 for Studio units and $1000 for units that have 2 or more bedrooms. The fee for all rentals is $50.00 and is in lieu of any advance damage deposits to cover such losses.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY

Local building and occupancy codes allow a certain Maximum Occupancy of the property. Exceeding the Maximum Occupancy is not permitted under any circumstances. In the event you exceed the maximum allowed guest capacity you will have to seek alternate or additional accommodations.If you exceed the number of guests the property was reserved for you will be required to pay an additional guest charge.

NO REFUND POLICY

Guest agrees and consents to that Manager, agent or Owner will not be responsible for inconvenience due to development construction, repairs and other activities and will not be responsible to move Guests to an alternate location or provide discounts.

Guests agree and consent that there will be no refunds or discounts offered or expected in the event that there is a breakdown of air conditioners, TVs, VCs, electronics and appliances, satellite/cable television, telephone, Internet (including loss of signal), construction nearby, beach accesses unusable due to acts of nature, a home not decorated to your tastes, bad weather, disturbances by neighbors, or beach access location.

HURRICANE GUARANTEE

If you have a confirmed reservation and your travel plans are disrupted due to a hurricane* announcement which leads to the closure of airports, and implementation of Hurricane* plans by local authorities, we will allow you to reschedule your vacation at no additional charge or penalty within the next twelve (12) months. In the event you have to depart early during your vacation stay, due to the implementation of a Hurricane* safety plan that goes into effect and ordered by the local authorities, we will allow you to reschedule your vacation within the next twelve (12) months for the lost days due to early departure.

*as defined by by the National Hurricane Center.

SUBSTITUTION

In the unlikely event if a villa or condo becomes unavailable prior to your arrival we will substitute comparable villa or condo without liability. If a comparable villa or condo are not available, or guest chooses to decline substitution, guest may receive a complete refund of what was paid for the original villa.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR CHILDREN / MINORS:

Adults traveling with children and minors are solely responsible for them. There is no life guard on duty at the pool or hot tubs.

DISPUTES / LIABILITY

Guests agree and consent to, that the Agent, Manager, Owner and their Employees will NOT be liable for damages resulting from injury of any kind whatsoever to any person or any persons property in connection with this Rental Agreement or while on the premises.Further Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Agent, Manager, Owner and their Employees from any liability, loss or obligation resulting from any such injuries or damages.

Further the Guests agree and consent to:

Jurisdiction: To resolve any and all disputes under the Laws of the Sovereign State of Mexico.

Venue: The municipal court of the city of Riviera Maya, state of Quintana Roo, Mexico, which will have complete and absolute jurisdiction regarding any legal action.
